Children from Rushmore and Grasmere Primary Schools have taken part in drama, history, music, dance and art workshops in the early stages of the project. They have also explored their local area and undertaken their own research to find evidence of what it was like to live in Hackney five hundred years ago. They then worked with Clio’s Company to put together what they had discovered, learned and imagined to stage a piece of musical theatre for family and friends. Some of these performances have taken place in Sutton House, built in 1535 and source of much inspiration.
