My Friends: Maud Aldridge is a very good friend of mine. I know her from work, we both work withour parents at Sir Giles Heron's House. She lets me visit her barn.

Magdelene Triple is also my friend. She's so kind, she lets me visit her wine cellar and she gives us food.

Rachel Ashebye is Maud's friend, so I know her as a good friend.

I live:In a run down cottage in the country with 6 siblings. It's so cramped!

I work: For Sir Giles Heron and Sir Ralph Sadlier. I do the laundry with my mum.

My name is Maud Aldrige. My best friend is Rachel Ashebye because she lets me sleep in her barn at night. My other friend is Cicely Ackland and I know her because my father(John Aldridge) worked for Giles Heron and so did Cicely.

I live: In an abandoned barn with Rachel. I used to live with parents but Ralph Sadlier put our rent up.

I work for Diana Sweete. She me at the Whitsun Fair when she asked me if I wanted a job sewing.

I live on: Eggs. Me and Rachel caught a chicken one morning at Whitsun Fair and have been looking after it for two weeks. I think we'll kill it soon.

My character lives in a rented room with her Mum and Dad. Her Dad is a carpenter. My character is looking for a job and at the fair she meets Dorothy Bedil and she give me job to pay for the mortgage.

I also help my father and I help my mum with the cooking and washing. We moved to the rented room because we could not bear the people where we lived before.
